Hey, I feel your pain - been there!
Is it possible that Sony is using a non-standard format on the disk?
Can you format disks from your lenny boot and r/w them? Or is it a case of
any and all floppy activity is a no go?

Hi John,
Yep, I've checked out that the floppy does work, both using various fl
disks and actually various drives. I have three drives around here and
they all work fine on the WXP drive I have installed in this box and no
problems w. the various floppy disks I have tried; both formatting and
with data already on them. Work like they are supposed to.

But when I try to use any of them, both drives and disks on my Lenny
system on another drive on the same system, no joy at all.

But thanks for your interest and recommendation. I appreciate it.

Whit
