Built my own, re-cycling older cases, as the PSUs and Mainboards had
been wasted by capacitor plague.
I ordered boards from 3btech, and there are more vendors at
pricewatch.com and newegg offers some deals.
My MSI K8GNM2 board, with 64bit Sempron 3000+ cost only $89.00 including
fan, and shipping. I had 2 each 256Mb and 2 each 128Mb sticks of DDR
RAM on hand. Runs fantastic on Mepis! nVidia drivers are included for
the onboard video!
Other boards were $29 x2 and $49x1 to take my 32 bit AMD 1.4, to 2.0 Ghz
processors and their memory sticks.
Anyway, a new PSU, mainboard, processor, fan, and memory should be less
than $150!
