[Leaplist] new low end linux computers

Time to replace a couple of computers. I've been running PCLINUXOS 2007, with
a lot of success in what I need it for, and plan to buy a couple of
relatively low-end pc's. One desktop, one laptop. Processor speed isn't an
issue. I prefer nVidia graphics, but anything that will handle 3d graphics
(Beryl) in a clean manner, will do fine.

I've had good luck with HP, Compaq and Dell in the past (but the Dell & Compaq
are around 10 years old, so may not be germane to the question). System76
looks good, but pricey. I've heard a little bit of good stuff about the HP
dv6000 series and Linux, but nothing that makes it a done deal.

I don't have any issues with overwriting (or dual booting) Ubuntu with PCLOS,
since Ubuntu seems to be shipping with most Linux loaded PC's.

So the question is (finally), any advice or suggestions on specific Linux
boxes being sold now-a-days? Or where to find internet coupons/discounts, as
well?

Thanks...
