i would not be supprised.  the DRM in vista is nasty to say the least. 
a few good things though, the video/audio DRMs have already been cracked
under vista, but if the hardware has been modified then it might be a
while before ANY Linux will work with that hardware setup.

Also could spell the end of video hardware that works with Linux.  this
is one of the things I talked about over a year ago when i started
reading up on Vista and its DRM demands on hardware OEMs.
