You must have higher-class curbsides in your area. I have never found
anything better than PI's (sometimes only 486's!) around here. If I had
been able to find anything close to 1GHz I would have gone homebrew
instead of buying Home Depot's cheapest "rebate bundle". But when it
would cost $450-500 for a "white box" without Windoze, while $350 will
get a computer PLUS monitor PLUS printer (unfortunately rated "doorstop"
but probably sellable) PLUS an undesired copy of Windoze ... well, I
simply can't afford to NOT buy that copy of Windoze.
