I don't buy them, unless they say Linux on the cover, and include 
something I don't know, but want to learn.  But, I do peruse them at 
newstands, once every few months.

Don't see any open source or GNU/Linux or BSD products, of course.
All the listed ones are 'For Profit' items.

I submit that the maniacal genius of marketing promotion presses many 
items into profitability, but the most diabolical of all was the 
monopolistic tactics of Microsoft in locking vendors into selling their 
crap as the ONLY product on their drives, and shelves, in their product 
lines, when superior items are extant.

Dell has 4 products with no OS installed, in the dark recesses of their 
empire, that ship with a CD of FreeOS.

Hitachi and Lenovo have protested, of late, but, acquiesced to pressure 
from the lowbrow legal eagles of M$.

The phenomenom is unreal.  We saw OS/2
