It could well be. I have been having intermittent but persistent
problems out of this box for a while. Much of it seemed to be SuSE
specific, but who knows .... David said something about having 2 HDD's
on 1 IDE channel spelling trouble, could something like that be it ?
As far as RO FS, The FS is the root FS in this case, which means the
syslog file would be locked out as well (no separate /var, /tmp, etc.,
all under /), & that is not so ....
