[Leaplist] CentOS question ....

.... I just upgraded my 2.4 GHz P4 from SuSE 9.2 to CentOS 4.4 from a
DVD I burned about a week ago. The install went smooth as silk, I
installed it as a server, plus developement & a few other sundries. I
wanted to login & install some more stuff from there. I SSH'ed in from
another box on the LAN as a regular user, then 'su -' to root. I
inserted the DVD back into the drive & closed it. The dvd did *not*
automount (is that expected or not (I thought it would) ?), so I tried
various incantations of mount to get it to mount, but nogo. I have
SELinux active, but saw *no* messages in the syslog file about not
letting me mount the DVD. I looked in the /etc/yum.repos.d directory &
saw that yum was configured to apparently automount the DVD. I tried
invoking yum enabling that repo, but also nogo (see attached). I
installed X-windows, but no Gnome or KDE, so I have no automatic menus
full of configure-menus to drop, just a pretty baren desktop. That is
OK, I will probably set it to runlevel 3 when I get everything setup,
but a bit of a challenge now :-). How do I get the DVD to mount where I
can use it to install more stuff ? TIA ....
