Tomorrow night, I will be demonstrating how to build a MailScanner machine and 
how to optimize it, soup it up and make it the best spam stopper you can get 
for free. (well, within reason).

Many tips on optimizing Spam Assassin will work on any SA instalation, but the 
presentation will be on building a spam and virus killer that can sit in 
front of other servers and do the dirty work. For example, this can easily 
sit in front of an Exchange server to filter crud and the only change to the 
original environment is to change the MX record to point to the MailScanner 
machine.
