I was with Vonage for about 3 years.. about a year ago went to packet8, the 
differences
perceived.. none
real... savings of 5 bucks per month..  19.95 not 24.95.. 
I elected to use standard POTS stuff so they provided a ata (free) which I 
plugged a wireless 3 set into..  I think they support most of the sip phones 
out there.. I even heard rumor that they supported some soft phone stuff, but 
have had no reason to research it fruther.. I can not verify that..  check 
them out.. 

I would never use copper again.. I don't care what plan they offer..   It 
amazes me..  the good old ma bell phone companies use the same technology 
under the covers and then tell you its bad, bad, bad.. Fred
