Run i386 Firefox, then you can run all the i386 plugins. Acrobat Reader
plugin is affected by this as well.

Unless your system has more than 4 Gb of memory, or you need to run
filesystems in excess of 8 Tb, then you aren't gimping anything with
your system by running the 32-bit version of the OS.
This is probably one of the biggest misconceptions of 64-bit computing,
one that our dear Bryan helped clear up for me. Yes, he was right. :)
