that is a link to Linuxquestions.org with the details on my xorg.conf
and the glxgears output as well as the lspci and uname -a output for my
big box.
i have Debian Etch amd64 running, have KDE 3.5 running, Thunderbird,
FireFox (sadly no flash player for the 64bit vs of FF /rude adobe) and
that is about it for now.
End goal i want to dump XP and play WoW again under either wine or
Cedega on this box.
In short what I did was use one of the new HDD i just picked up and
disconnected the HDD with XP installed on it. this way there would be
no confusion in setting up the box and no way i could screw up my data
on the XP drive.

the bold section on the xorg.conf are the 2 lines i added according to
the nvidia HOWTO, the above bold is for the 2 vid cards i am running.
Yes i get the Nvidia splash screen and from what i can tell the nvidia
drivers are loaded and working. my glxgears -printfps is rather low
from what i would be expecting with 1 card it was between 5k - 6k, with
SLI enabled it is the EXACT SAME. so i screwed something up.
FYI, my older box the P4 running Nvidia 6800 in an AGP slot gets between
9 - 13k and it is a much slower CPU, less ram and considerably weaker
GPU then the 2 i have in my current rig.
So what did i screw up, how do i fix it and were is my performance for
this beast?
thanks in advance for the help.
