Libya? Is this the same Libya that routinely still denies
entry visas to Americans who wish to such subversive
activities as visiting Roman-era archaeological sites?

Not the same Libya that plans to send a number of
European nurses to a firing squad for a trumped up
prosecution over an AIDS case which has very suspect
circumstances about it.  (IMHO etc etc)

If I were on the way to Tripoli for whatever reason (a contract
admin on Kofi's dole, perhaps) I would take only a new
laptop with nothing previously installed/important on it.
And insist on being paid in Euros.

ObTrivia - "Liibiia" the only word in Arabic I know of that
looks the same when written backwards, as forwards.
