Yes, I get the Leaplist notices, and other automatic notices, each
month, that I am subscribed to that server list. http://counter.li.org
sends out the notice annually, and, purges after no response after one
year, having sent another message, to remind them to respond.
Simply clicking on the sign in gets you renewed.
This is true, as Phil has noted, that the Linux Counter has been
insignificant and not mainstream.
The logs of Net Stat or other certifications, that log users by OSes,
also have large errors, because many users of GNU/Linux have their
browsers report as IE6, instead of being truthful...
So, we are "under reported", and the tipping point could be
approximately at 30% of the entire market of users, before hardware
makers actually start to pay attention to writing and supporting Open
Source drivers for their products... Until then, I am continuing to
ONLY use hardware that is either supported with Open Source drivers,
or, only purchasing used hardware.
That is just the way I live, and, having just turned my 6th decade, I
am quite insistent on having my way.
