FC6 came with the correct tzdata file when it was released. I know
that not everyone here has updated to FC6, so for those people running
older Fedora, as well as RHEL 3 & 4 (especially if you have a machine
installed longer than a year ago):
Make sure to update tzdata and glibc-common, then run the following as root:
"/usr/sbin/tzdata-update -- tzdata"
The command will return almost immediately. You can then verify that
the timezone you have selected has the DST changes by doing the
following:
"zdump -v /etc/localtime | grep 2007"
and seeing what times DST are activated and deactivated.
