quick note on stop on a wild trip i took last week.

The stop was a TriLUG meeting in the Raleigh NC area.  It was their annual
social which this year was curiously sponsored by Google.  Google had large
contingent of reps there, most were admin and science types but also there
were a couple of HR types that were most definitely collecting business
cards.  There were also a lot of headhunter types from other outfits (they
were easy to spot... by being female and pretty).  Soooooo, just mentioning
this to alert anyone that's looking to relocate to either Lenoir NC
(beautiful area but you gotta love tree hugging) or Goose Creek SC (closer
to the action of a big city)
it sure looks like to me Google is really really in the penguin hiring mode.

And yes Fred, Blackwater and the Ukrainian embassy visits were interesting
too but you know the drill all too well, I'd have to kill you.
