xman is a graphical man pages viewer.  A lot of the newer file  
browsers support the man: syntax.  For example, if you wanted to see  
the man pages for vi, enter "man:vi" in the browser address line.

You may not need xman.

As for the editors, what editors does he talk about?  cuz there are  
usually a bunch of them pre-installed.
