[Leaplist] Learning Linux

At this ripe old age I have a desire to learn Linux,  so I got a book "Practical Guide to Linux" by Mark Sobell. Now none of the editors he talks about are on my computer nor can it pull manual he called xman. 

What am I doing wrong, fellows?
