[Leaplist] Linux is about to take over, starting with the low end computers.

I read that article . It seems that Microsoft has painted them selfs in
a corner. It is hard to justify paying more than the computer for a
operating system. Then double that again at least for all the
applications needed to make that system useful. The business model is
changing and even mighty Microsoft can only adapt. In the new model
money is made in services. I have actually spent more money on computers
and services since I switched to Linux. I have bought support at times
and many books. The last computer I bought , one of the strongest reason
why I chose the vendor I did was that they supported Linux . The support
in the open source world is far better than for the legacy operating
system. As more people taste open source they will lose their fear of
the unknown , find that their needs are meant better and cheaper than by
windows . Then the demand for open source products will greatly increase.
