At the rate things are going, and the speed at which people are using
technology to circumvent advertising in all forms, I would not be
surprised for "free" mass media to go away, and we be stuck with the
choice of either crappy blogs and video of idiots riding skateboards
backwards on YouTube , or having to pay for commercial news and
content.

Me, I am one of those people who buys the Saturday and Sunday paper
specifically for the ads... then I read the rest of the drivel later.
