No, I am not talking about integrating my Linux machine with a banks 
system.  A some times difficult task and less than satisfactory 
performance at times.

Yes.  I have never seen a bank that has a Linux-based system.  Do not 
know if such a system must be approved by some government agency or what.

A friend of mine who is President of one branch bank uses a Microsoft 
based package and wants to expand his depositor base to include "on line 
banking, including web bill pay".  His system has a web bill pay on it 
now but it is very frustrating to use from a Linux machine.

Never know what an occasional discussion might lead to :)
