I don't believe that pop-up blocker blocks adds from Web sites, just pop-ups
and pop-unders. I could be wrong though.

Yeah its called Pop-up Blocker a 3rd party app for windows that does
basically the same thing that AdBlock and NoScript do, but works for IE.
