No issues.  Just that, if you only run IPCOP, and have only a few
network client nodes, any slow system would work great.

But, if you intend to run Spam Assassin, and Dan's Guardian, a cpu in
the 800 mhz speed range is best.  Dan's Guardian filters web content by
keywords, ( Web sites have upto 25 descriptive words, plus, most photos
have words).

Some folks seem to be running the above in slower speed systems, and are
OK with that, on a small network.

Not running Dan's Guardian, my IPCOP box is based on a 350 Mhz PIII cpu
with 32 Mb of system RAM.
