Downloading http://pclinuxos-TR4 (Test Review 4). The web server is
up, but, please DL from a mirror.

Grabbed Simply Mepis 6.5 and tossed it into a machine... will tell all!

I am volunteering at a church sponsored thrift store, mornings. on East
Aloma, 6,500 Square Feet of space, is practically full.

There are too many CRT computer monitors! So, for any donation of $2.00
you could have a working 17" monitor! (they are in the back work room),
so ask me.

There are lots of printers, ink jet and laser, including some all in one
multi-function units.

The HP, Canon brands seem to dominate.

Need toner, and I am happy to accept any donations of toner to refill
these with.

These units are what I am going to be verifying (in Linux!) starting
this coming week.

Even have started recruiting the other volunteers to GNU/Linux!

Also, will be installing Linux on the sale units, and having them in a
demo area, also.

A CDrom of GNU/Linux will be included with each system.

Multi-function Printer units go for $25.00 to $35.00.

I bought a Phillips PVR for only $10.00 yesterday. There are also some
amps for Video/audio entertainment centers.

Also, have some Dell, Compaq, and other brands of Computer systems, with
mouse, keyboard, at about $10 per hundred mhz cpu speed.

Also will take any donations of equipment that is Mac, PC, Amiga,
Atari, DEC, Sparc, etc. that will run GNU/Linux (For PCs, about 400
mhz, and faster), with memory. Will happily accept many parts.

The proceeds help people in the local community. This store has always
run in the black.
