According to the industry experts, Microsoft Vista sales are worse than
were Me sales. Sales at a specific store during one short period of
time, and on the first day of a sale, with huge discounts on the
hardware/OS bundled package, is not really an accurate indicator of
overall sales of a product. In fact, "loss leaders" are not accepted as
industry indicators for any meaningful statistical data collection.
In all of China, sales of Vista are officially tagged at 244 units. I'm
not kidding. This news is so noteworthy that there are blogs by many
Chinese accusing Microsoft of forcing them into piracy! Average annual
income in China is $1,000, and typical tax is $100. Microsoft Vista is
priced at $200. Vista copies on the street, bundled with Microsoft 98,
2000, and XP are running $20. Seems that Microsoft prices in most other
countries are in the realm of a luxury item!
I won't bore you with the sources, blogs, and commentary by 'experts'.
Slashdot probably has them, in spades.
As to the grief we experience everytime we witness a customer being
scammed, it is wise to remember that we have the entire free Internet to
discuss this on, but, would be messing with the venue of the brick and
mortar associates and trusted partners in the Microsoft Felon cartel,
and they would only use that against us.
We can only save the 'marks' from being scammed one at a time, it
seems. The multiple convicted Felon Microsoft, "Trusted partners", and
criminal conspirators are still at large, operating as part of a huge
multinational conspiracy of extortionists.
I spent my morning converting two, and possibly four, medics, nurses,
and fellow patients at the VA hospital. Handed out two LiveCDroms.
