Yeah, and AGP 4x/8x stuff is quite cheap these days.
For all the boxes I have, you'd think I'd play games on the best hardware I own, but no. I'm
playing WoW with a AGP 8x "N6800" nVidia card. I'd seen 8600 GS, and 6800 GT before... Hadn't
seen "N6800" until I got this card. It has 512 MB RAM, which is huge for the price I paid. (I
did spend a bit more for the sound and NIC for this box. CPU is AMD "Barton" core, which now =
cheap!)
Wish there was a way to change the video chip in my laptop. :( That's the one I was complaining
about at the meeting, with the ATI chip in it. Radeon Express 200M doesn't DRI with any of the
available drivers--yet. (No, especially not ATI's drivers.)
