What version? Remember our previous thread about expectations of open source to be compatible with the latest Commerceware/Hostageware. ;-)

That has *0* to do with QuickBooks format. It has to do with whether or not your bank supports standard interfaces/formats.

Also, remember that Intuit has support that open source can_not_ freely replicate. That alone often makes Intuit products worth paying for.
