I ahve been.  I have been researching for quite some time.  Freeware can 
and has solved many hostageware problems.  Samba for windows file 
services(not AD).  Scalix, and others for exchange.

I can and do htink for myself and my clients.  The reality check is on 
your side Bryan.  Just because it works for you because you can write 
code doesn't mean it iwll work for those of us that aren't able to.  I 
have donated time to projects by testing and using apps that may solve 
my issues.  Despite attitudes like yours and the insults that follow i 
will continue to look for solutions.  I get my clients because they can 
see i also think outside the MS box.
