But your "facts" are so *INCORRECT* that's *EXACTLY* what you are doing!

Then say *THAT*. Not what Linux does and doesn't do -- or what it
needs to do for you.

So what do you do when you have *CONFLICTING* Access programs?
Programs written for *DIFFERENT* Access versions?

Consider looking to *ALTERNATIVES* to Access version-specific support
nightmares.
No community solution is going to solve it for you.

At best, maybe "emulation" down the road -- but that's *NEVER* ideal.

> Give me a nice converter to something else and i'm good to go.

You want something that not even Microsoft will give you.
Have you considered the *ROOT*CAUSE*?

That's what I meant.

If you can't see it, sorry, that's *YOUR* problem.
The community can't solve it for you or your clients.

> Take a chill pill and chill out.

Take the *REALITY* pill.
The problem with Access is Access.

Freedomware does *NOT* solve Hostageware, much less
Orphanware/Abandonware issues. It *NEVER* will. You have to look
*OUTSIDE* the spoon-fed options as if you can't think for yourself --
let alone your clients.

> I have been a defender of yours when nobody else would.

I don't need anyone to "defend" me. In fact, I'm in the small, tiny
3% anymore. And I'm just fine with that. I don't mind it if *NO*ONE*
agrees with me. In fact, it's why I get some of the work I do.

> back off man. 'nough said.

Trying *THINKING* before you speak.
Consider the *ROOT*CAUSE*.

Don't ask the community to solve issues *YOUR*CHOICE* creates. ;->
Their time is *BETTER* spent innovating, *NOT* reverse engineering.
