We have encountered that 'problem', which is only a problem because some 
folks use some product that is NOT the approved Standard.

So all work is exported in odf, the acknowledged standard.  


Open Office really is the clear choice, and, to aim for some 
compatibility, we can send formatted as odf.

Office 2007 will try to comply, I am certain, if Microsoft wants the 
business.
