Well, transfers can take many forms.

With a router, hook up both units, and mount on the network, transfer 
folders..

Use an external drive enclosure, on USB or Firewire, and hook the old 
drive on it, transfer...

Use serial port cable, or, usb cable, for a direct link up, or a network 
crossover cable... (have some cat5 crossover cables, if you want one).  
USB cables are at Dollar Tree, for $1 each.

I have seen the USB/Firewire  Airlink 101 enclosures at Cheap Guys 
(Colonial store had one last week, top shelf) for 29.95.   Also have 
seen enclosures on the web, http://pricewatch.com and at http://newegg.com
