This is already happening.
With one of my clients (a medium-sized TelCo/ISP) when one of their
customers is having trouble connecting to the site the problem is
usually due to issues with Internet Exploiter. We recommend that the
customer switch to Firefox - 9 times out of 10 that alone fixes the
problem. I would say that a very significant portion of their customer
base is now on Firefox.
