i have yet to figure out how to get *buntu to share anything. i can not
ssh into it, i can not use cupsd to share out my printer, etc... as far
as i can tell the entire *buntu line of distros is locked down some how
on standard services for linux. put that printer on a different linux
box and i bet it will work for you.
