VMWare Player is just for running VMWare images.  You just want the
management client for PC-2 if you want to access the XP VM running on
PC-1.

Go back to the downloads page for VMWare server and d/l the managment
client.  Here's the url I get:

http://download3.vmware.com/software/vmserver/VMware-server-linux-client-1.0.1-29996.zip

That's the same client you get from installing the server - that's what
I use on my FC6 laptop.
