[Leaplist] Strange symptoms...

I had a problem a while back  ... the cd drive light kept flashing and 
slowed everything down horribly ... but it was OK if there was a cd in 
the drive. Didn't reboot, but did act pretty flakey. Turned out it was 
some kind of automounter running, I think it was a media player looking 
for some music to play.

SO, try putting some OTHER cd in the drive and see if that stops the 
rebooting too. Maybe totally irrelevant, but it's an easy test to make.
