The good thing is it won't cost you anything to find out if your machine has
enough oomph to do it.
Generally, hard limitations come with ram and HD space. While adequate CPU
power is important, you will only see about a 10% or less hit compared to
running directly on the machine without vmware. But nothing can mitigate the
ram or hd requirements.
