VMware Server != VMware Workstation
The "server" version, while it does provide a console connection, is not 
intended to be a desktop application environment.  The "workstation" 
version, however, is.  It has more features oriented towards "running 
Windows in a Window on your Linux machine", rather than "Running a Windows 
Server in the background of your Linux server"
