And yes, I violated my own rule (minimize/eliminate server changes)
in my original suggestion, although I was just stating what I do.

I honestly thing the whole "calendar reminder" is easily solved with
a "vCalendar" post to the LEAP web site.  Someone should use
Evolution, Sunbird or something else (_not_ Outlook) to generate the
vCalendar file which people can import into their local or on-line
calendar.  That would be "quick'n dirty" and doesn't require a
modification to the server (other than a file placed on it).
